Case Study - Applicant Tracking System

Situation
Large Financial Institute with no common HR hiring programme.  Managers recruited in an ad hoc manner, ignoring HR policies and government requirements, to the extent that they could have been at risk of litigation.  However HR could not respond fast enough to the business needs. 

Objectives
To determine requirements of each business section to establish if an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) via their website could satisfy their needs.  Once determined that an ATS system was necessary, the objective was to find a suitable product and vendor and to mange that vendor during the implementation phase.

Deliverables
Interviewed Business Units and HR to determine what was needed.
Developed HR policies for hiring.
Market research and examination into existing companies and products. 
Assisted with the appointment of a suitable vendor.
Monitored the vendor during implementation and deployment of the system.
Developed talent management system.

Conclusion
Successfully delivered new project within time and to budget.  Streamlined recruitment and hiring process, protected company from litigation and delivered to demanding business requirements.
